Chillicothe Police Report For Monday

The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 71 calls for service Monday.  Some of the calls include:

At 9:25 am, Officers were dispatched to dogs running-at-large in the area of Dickinson Ave. and Calhoun St.  The owner was located at a later time and was cited.  Officers were assisted by the Livingston County Animal Control Officer.

At 10:53 am, Officers were dispatched to a possibly sick raccoon in the 200 block of Webster St.  Officers were assisted by the Livingston County Animal Control Officer.

At 10:59 am, Officers were dispatched to a vehicle parked in a business lot for an extended period of time in the 1200 block of N. Washington St.  Officers contacted a passenger in the vehicle who was waiting for their friend and then left.

At 11:24 am, Officers recovered lost property in the 1000 block of Graves St.  Officers are attempting to locate the owners.

At 2:17 pm, Officers took a report of a speeding and careless driving ATV in the area of Woodward St. and Calhoun St.  Officers were unable to locate the ATV.

At 6:21 pm, Officers took a report of stealing in the 1000 block of Graves St.  A suspect has been identified and charges are pending.

At 9:18 pm, a disturbance was reported in the 200 block of Brunswick St.  Officers contacted both parties involved, and no report was filed.

 

At 9:18 pm, Officers were dispatched to a raccoon on a porch of a residence preventing the resident and her small children from entering.  When the Officers arrived, the raccoon was gone.  Animal control will be contacted in an attempt to catch the raccoon.

 

At 11:04 pm, Officers were dispatched to carelessly driven semi traveling toward Chillicothe on US 36 from the East.  Officers monitored the area but did not locate the vehicle.
