Flood Warnings Expanded To More Of The Grand River

The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Warning for portions of the Grand River.  The Flood Warning is for the Grand River at Chillicothe and Sumner.

At Chillicothe, the river rose above flood stage of 24 feet Friday morning and is expected to crest at 29.7 feet by 7:00 this evening.  Flooding on the Grand River at Chillicothe is expected to continue until midday Saturday.

At Sumner, the river is near flood stage of 26 feet and will continue to rise to a crest of 30.7 feet Saturday morning.  Flooding at Sumner is expected to continue through 1:00 pm Sunday

At Brunswick, the river is expected to rise to just above flood stage of 19 feet sometime Sunday morning, cresting at 19.2 feet and falling back below flood stage early Monday morning.
