Flood Warnings Continue For Portions Of The Grand River
The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Warning for portions of the Grand River. The Flood Warning is for the Grand River at Chillicothe, Sumner and Brunswick.
At Chillicothe, the river crested overnight at 29.11 feet, and the river level is beginning to fall. Flooding on the Grand River at Chillicothe is expected to continue through Saturday afternoon. Flood stage at Chillicothe is 24 feet.
At Sumner, the river crested overnight at 33.46 feet. Flooding at Sumner is expected to continue through early Monday morning when the river falls back below flood stage of 26 feet.
At Brunswick, the river was at 18 feet at 6:00 this morning. Flood stage is 19 feet and the river is expected to crest at 21.6 feet Sunday morning. Flooding at Brunswick is expected through Monday evening.
