Flood Watches & Warnings – Flash Flooding & Flooding On The Grand River

Flash Flood Watch For Today

A Flash Flood Watch is issued for much of northwest Missouri, including most of the KCHI listening area.  Local counties included are: Livingston, Caldwell, Carroll, Daviess, Grundy, Linn, and Sullivan.  The Flash Flood Watch is until 7:00 this evening, due to the amount of rain already received leaving the ground saturated and the potential for additional rainfall through today.

You should avoid low lying areas and areas prone to flash flooding, as sudden heavy rainfall could cause flooding to happen very quickly.

If you see water flowing or standing on the roadways, turnaround and find another route.
