Flood warnings continue for potions of the Grand River as the river will remain above flood stage this week.
At Chillicothe, the river rose above flood stage of 24 feet Wednesday and fell back below flood stage overnight. The river is expected to rise above flood stage again tonight, with a new crest of nearly 27 feet., with flooding continuing into late Friday night.
At Sumner, the river rose to near 31 feet Wednesday and is expected to rise to a crest of 32.5 feet Friday, with flooding continuing until Sunday evening. Flood stage at Sumner is 26 feet.
At Brunswick, the river is above flood stage of 19 feet, with a reading Wednesday evening of 20.1 feet. A crest of 21.8 feet is expected Sunday, with flooding continues at Brunswick into Monday morning.
