Two Arrests In Chillicothe Police Report

The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 80 calls for service Monday.  Some of the calls include:

12:33 am, Officers checking the well-being of a person in the 500 block of Samuel Street.  That person was found to be having a reaction to medication.

2:06 am, Officers conducted a traffic stop at 36 Highway and Mitchell Avenue… Officers arrested the driver for driving while suspended and exceeding the posted speed limit.   The driver was transported to the Chillicothe Police Department, processed and released.

10:53 am, Officers responded to the 300 block of Washington for a two-vehicle crash without injuries. The driver of the vehicle that hit the other was cited for improper lane use.

1:31 pm, Officer took a report from Municipal Utilities of illegal dumping at the City burn site.  Investigation continuing.

2:22 pm, Recovered billfold from business in the 1000 block of Graves Street.  The owner from out-of-state was contacted by business and will claim their property at the PD.

5:29 pm, Officers took a report of someone having walked away from a care center in the 1300 block of Monroe Street.  The person was located and taken to Hedrick Medical Center for treatment.

5:36 pm,  Officers responded to the 1000 block of Walnut Street for a report of property damage done to a house.  Windows had been shot with BBs.  The investigation is continuing.

8:34 pm, Officers dispatched to a possible domestic dispute in the 1500 block of Springhill Street.  While at the scene, two people were arrested for a reported theft that had occurred on an earlier date.  They were processed, cited and released.  Evidence from the theft was recovered.
