Big Cuts In Store For Chillicothe R-II Budget

The Chillicothe R-II School Board will need to approved a budget for the 2020/21 School Year by the end of June, and Superintendent Dan Wiebers told the School Board Tuesday, they will need to make cuts as the district can not continue to deficit spend.  He has proposed cuts over two years.

Wiebers says he has several recommendations for the cuts in the first phase.

Wiebers says they also plan to freeze the salary schedule.
