Chillicothe Police Report For Wednesday

The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 81 calls for service Wednesday.  Some of the calls include court duties and fingerprinting requirements.

12:50 am, Report of a person acting strangely in the 100 block of N. Washington Street.  The person continued walking southbound on Washington Street.

1:56 am, Call of a person lying in roadway by bridge construction south of town.  Sheriff’s office advised and checked the incident.  Determined to be the same person from the previous call on Washington Street.   That person was determined to be a danger to himself and/or others and transported to the PD.  Paperwork was completed to obtain evaluation and medical assistance through the Court.  The person was later transferred to a treatment facility.

5:57 am, Report of underage kids in a pickup driving around on Bryan Street.  Officers unable to locate.

9:42 am, Officer out in the 500 block of E. Bus. 36 in regards to a leaving the scene accident.   Information was received and the investigation is continuing.

12:10 pm, Officers responded to the 300 block of Bridge Street, in reference to a domestic assault in progress.   The domestic was determined to be verbal in nature and parties were separated.

8:55 pm, Report of subject messing around vehicles in the 500 block of S. Washington Street.  Officers unable to locate the person.

9:09 pm, Officers assisted Emergency Services on possible fire in the 500 block of Jackson Street.  Subject burned item on the stove.  No fire, just smoke.

11:27 pm, Call reporting break-in in progress in the 200 block of E. Bridge Street.  The resident was contacted and denied any issues.  No signs of damage at residence.
