Four Injured In Two Weekend Accidents

Two accidents involving area residents were investigated by State Troopers over the weekend.

Sunday at about 1:55 pm, a two-vehicle accident near Osborn left a Gallitan woman and her two passengers injured.  Forty-nine-year-old Shelly Morgan of Gallatin was southbound on Missouri 33 when a vehicle driven by 74-year-old Karen Bobert of Osborn was northbound and attempted to make a left turn and struck the Morgan vehicle.  Morgan and her passengers, 26-year-old Jessica Eddy and 35-year-old Brandy Shull-Batye, both of Lexington, were taken to Mosaic Lifecare in St. Joseph for treatment of moderate injuries.  Bobert was not injured.  They were all wearing safety belts.

At about 2:00 pm, a single-vehicle accident on Route A, north of Braymer, left a 23-year-old Adenia Tolle of Braymer with moderate injuries.  State Troopers report Tolle was southbound and ran off the right side of the road, overcorrected, and struck a tree.  She was taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center for treatment.  She was not wearing a safety belt.
