Area Agencies Receive CARES Act Funding For Economic Development

Two Million Dollars in CARES Act Grants for Economic Development are awarded to five agencies in Northern Missouri.  Representative Sam Graves says the grants will enable the agencies to assist businesses, local governments and community partners as they recover and rebuild economically from the COVID-19 pandemic.

The grants of $400,000 each will be used to serve the local communities.  For the KCHI area, Green Hills Regional Planning Commission will use the funding to respond to the coronavirus pandemic by supporting business owners and community partners to ensure economic recovery.
