Scrub Seal On 190 In Daviess County Begins Thursday

The Missouri Department of Transportation will begin a Scrub Seal project on Highway 190 in Daviess County on Thursday.

Vance Brothers, Inc., working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, plans to start the scrub seal on Route 190 between the Grundy County line and Route F on Thursday.  That section of the roadway will take about 2 days to complete.

During the scrub seal operation, the roadway will be reduced to a single lane, with flaggers and a pilot car directing motorists through the work zone. Drivers will experience delays in both directions.

These are part of a larger project to seal roads across 13 counties in Northwest Missouri. Other planned routes include:

Route V in Daviess County from Route 6 to Route 190

Route 190 in Daviess and Livingston counties from Route V to US 65

Route 11 in Linn and Chariton counties from US 24 to US36

Route 5 in Chariton County from US 24 to Howard County
