Chillicothe Police Report For Tuesday

The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 83 calls for service Tuesday.

At 3:51 a.m., Officers arrested a 30-year-old man for driving without a valid driver’s license following a traffic stop in the 200 block of W. Bus. 36 Hwy.  The man was processed and released pending.

At 11:06 a.m., Officers assisted a citizen with checking on a possible stolen firearm.  They determined the firearm was not stolen.

At 2:24 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a single-vehicle injury traffic crash in the 500 block of Mohawk Rd.  A vehicle ran off the road, the driver overcorrected and crashed through a fence.  That driver complained of minor injury but refused transport for treatment.

At 5:08 p.m., Officers were dispatched to grass clippings on the street in the 1400 block of Third St.  The owner was contacted about the ordinance violation and will remove the grass.  Grass clippings in the street can cause a safety issue and can also clog storm drains.

At 5:22 p.m., Officers took a report of harassment in the 1000 block of Graves St.  The investigation continues.

At 5:31 p.m., Officers assisted a citizen with a medical concern in the 900 block of Webster St.

At 8:46 p.m., Officers were dispatched to an assault in the 400 block of S. Washington St.  A suspect has been identified.
