Chillicothe Police Report For Tuesday

The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 98 calls for service Tuesday.  Some of the calls include:

9:37 am, Officer out at Courthouse to assist Livingston County Sheriff’s Department with an investigation.

1:54 pm, Officer at PD for a child custody issue.  No report.

3:30 pm, Officers out in the 1400 block of Alexander Street reference possible hit and run accident.    The other driver returned later and the parties are taking care of the issues.

5:55 pm, Officers responded to near the intersection of Washington Street and Ryan Ln. for a two-vehicle accident.  Both vehicles were traveling northbound on Washington Street when one vehicle began to slow down for traffic and was struck from behind.  One vehicle was towed and both sustained moderate damage.    One driver sought treatment on his own at Hedrick Medical Center.    A ticket was issued for following too closely.

7:18 pm, Officer out in 400 block of Calhoun Street on possible theft investigation.  Negative contact.

8:07 pm, Single-vehicle crash at Polk and Easton Street.  A vehicle struck a culvert and then a utility pole.  No injuries were reported and the vehicle was towed from the scene.
