The Chillicothe Lady Hornets tennis team lost to Bishop LeBlond 5-0 in the team sectional tennis competition.
In doubles play:
Delaney May and Megan Sisson lost 3-8
Cami Carpenter and Leah Lourenco lost 0-8
Rylee Washburn and Olivia Anderson lost 2-8
In singles play:
Delaney May lost 4-6, 1-6
Megan Sisson lost 1-6, 0-6, giving LeBlond the necessary five wins.
LeBlond then beat the host team, undefeated Odessa 5-2 and advanced to the team State semi-final competition.
Coach Karen Jackson said she was extremely proud of the Lady Hornets team, stating they had a great season.
