Council Approves Furnace For Street Barn
The Street Barn for the City of Chillicothe will get a new heating source soon. The City Council approved the purchase of a wood stove/boiler, to supplement the current oil burner that burns the waste oil from the vehicles. City Administrator Darin Chappell says the new unit that costs nearly $20,000 will save the city money.
The furnace will be installed outside the Street Barn, adjacent to the current building.
