Chillicothe Police Report For Thursday

The Chillicothe Police Department responded to 93 calls for service Thursday.  Some of the calls include:

2:16 pm, Officers out on 800 block of Samuel Street.  Semi hooked utility lines.  CMU notified.

2:34 pm, Officer responded to the 1200 block of N. Washington Street for a two-vehicle, non-injury accident.  A vehicle pulled from a private drive and struck a vehicle that was northbound on US 65.  Both vehicles were driven from the scene.

3:10 pm, Officer checking area of 600 block of Calhoun for someone messing with parked vehicles.   The officer observed an individual in the area and they ran from Officer.  Officer was able to relocate the suspect and take them into custody.  The suspect was arrested for Public Consumption (Alcohol), Tampering with Motor Vehicle, and Resisting Lawful Detention.

6:49 pm, Officers in the 700 block of S. Washington Street took a report of a stolen license plate.

8:05 pm, Officers conducting premises check in 400 block of N. Washington Street for a reported possible break-in.  The building was checked and found to be secure.

8:13 pm, Officers out in the 1000 block of S. Washington Street on a reported break-in.  Officers made contact with the reporting party and no report was made at this time.

9:24 pm, Officer monitoring Junction of US 36 & 65 for an eastbound speeding vehicle with no tail lights.  The vehicle was located and stopped near US 36 and CC and the driver was found to be driving while revoked.  They were arrested, processed, and released.
