A single-vehicle accident Monday morning in Adair County left two Linneus men with minor injuries. State Troopers report the accident happened about 9:30 am on the US 36 bypass, just south of Kirksville, as 57-year-old Steven Gelski was northbound and lost control on an ice-covered bridge. His car ran off the left side of the road and struck the bridge. Gelski and his passenger, 69-year-old Clifford White of Linneus were both taken to Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville for treatment of minor injuries. They were wearing safety belts.
