Additional Ice Accumulation Possible Tonight and Thursday Morning

Periods of light freezing rain/drizzle will persist now into Thursday morning. The National Weather Service says the highest period of accumulating freezing rain is expected to occur this evening into tonight. Hazardous road conditions are expected. Additional ice accumulations of a 1/10th to a ¼ inch are expected. Use caution with any outside activities, including walking and driving.

Flood Warning Update

Flood Warnings continue for portions of the Grand River. At Chillicothe, the river has fallen back below flood stage of 24 feet. At Sumner, the river crested at 33.55 feet Tuesday and has fallen to 31.2 feet.  Flood stage at Sumner is 26 feet and flooding is expected to continue until late Wednesday night.
