NCMC Signs New Women’s Basketball Recruit

North Central Missouri College in Trenton has signed a new Women’s Basketball recruit for the upcoming season. McKenzie McBee is a Senior at Richmond High School and is the fifth recruit for the NCMC Lady Pirates team. McBee was an All District Selection and first team All Missouri River Valley Conference performer. McBee averaged 16.3 points per game for Richmond. […]

Rain Postpones CHS Sports

Two Chillicothe High School sports contests scheduled for Tuesday were rained out. High School Principal and Athletic Director Dan Nagel stated the Baseball game at Maryville will be made good on Friday May 3rd at 6:00pm. The Boys Tennis match against Lafayette scheduled for Tuesday was also postponed but no make up date has yet been set.

The Chillicothe Lady Hornets Soccer team fought off cold and rainy conditions to beat Cameron at home 2-0. Chillicothe’s Sara Graves scored off a penalty kick in the 33rd minute. Chillicothe Freshman Golfer Gage Leamer is headed to the MSHSAA Sectional Golf Tournament next week. Leamer shot a round of 91 to finish 10th in the District Golf Tournament at Paradise Pointe Outlaw Course in Smithville,  par 72 course. Chillicothe shot a team score of 433.
