– CLOSED: Livingston County Library is closed through Monday, April 6 to help limit the spread of COVID-19. This includes the cancellations of all library programs.

–CHANGED: The Grand River Multipurpose Center will do home delivered meals as usual . Congregate eating at the center has been suspended. Congregate clients that can drive and need a meal can call, give their name, pick up, and take home. Congregate clients that cannot drive have been added to the home delivered routes. New clients will need to call to inquire about services. Questions; call (660)646-1555.
–CLOSED: The Grand River Area Family YMCA closed its facilities to the public and suspended activities until further notice. This includes YMCA locations in Chillicothe, Brookfield, and Carrollton.
–POSTPONED: The Jamesport Community Association annual fish fry and dessert auction scheduled for Friday, March 27 has been rescheduled for Friday, April 24. The decision was made in accordance with state health department recommendations for preventative measures against the spread of COVID-19.
Wednesday, March 18 -TBD
–CHANGED: The Active Aging Resource Center in Gallatin is closed to the public. Meals on Wheels will continue on a weekly basis. All other activities are suspended.

– CHANGED: The Chillicothe Eagles Lodge cancelled all live band performances at the hall. For questions call; (660)646-5473
– CLOSED: Chillicothe Municipal Utilities closed its lobby. Other means should be used to contact CMU and/or pay your bill.
–CLOSED: 55 n’ Go closed its office and all services including Threads and Joy Toys.

–CLOSED: Grand River Historical Museum in Chillicothe is closed until further notice due to the COVID-19 situation.
Monday, March 23 – April 3
–CLOSED: All offices of North Central Missouri Mental Health Center will be open for staff ONLY. All consumer activities will be conducted via “telehealth” or telephone services and requests for medication refills will be addressed and completed as usual. Consumers and members of the public will not be granted entry to North Central facilities. Office phone hours remain the same.
Tuesday, March 24
–CHANGED: Due to the spread of the current virus all veterans benefits for the upcoming month of April will be on an as needed basis versus having scheduled days. The counselor is available by appointment. To file a VA claim, get help with an existing claim, make an appointment, or for questions, please call (660)359-2078 Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. All VA shuttle services have been cancelled until further notice.
Saturday, March 28
– POSTPONED: Hale Library and Museum hosts a craft show to benefit the Hale Library and Museum Building fund on Saturday, March 28 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Hale R-I Auditorium. Vendors may call (660)247-5965 to reserve a booth space.
Sunday, March 29
– The Chillicothe Animal Shelter is asking for newspaper donations. Donations can be taken to 1400 South Mitchell Ave. Chillicothe, MO 64601. Pick-up is also available. For questions call, (660) 646-1006.

–POSTPONED: The Friends of the Livingston County Library’s Annual Meeting that was scheduled for Tuesday, March 31 has been postponed. Memberships can still be mailed to the Livingston County Library. Information about the annual meeting and the “OneReads” program will be announced at another date.

The Missouri State Museum hosts “Jonathan B. Murray Center for Documentary Journalism Film Screenings” as part of its ongoing “Landing After Hours” series on Wednesday, April 1 at 7:00 p.m. The will be held at Jefferson Landing State Historic Site.
Saturday, April 18
–POSTPONED: The benefit for Jason Adams in Mendon has been postponed indefinitely due to precautionary measures taken to limit the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
