– Friends of the Livingston County Library and the Grand River Historical Society will present a program on the historic Chillicothe AME Church on September 25th at 7:00 pm in the library courtroom.

 

Wednesday, September 26

– There is a blood draw clinic on September 26th from 7:00-10:00 am at the Livingston County Health Center.

– The Livingston County Library Children’s Department is hosting a Lego Lab on September 26th and the last Wednesday of each month from 4:00-5:00 pm. Children 5-12 are invited to attend. For more information call 646-0563.

 

Thursday, September 27

– The Livingston County Commission meets September 27th at 9:30 am at the Courthouse.

Friday, September 28

– Old Time Harvest Days are September 28th and 29th at the Livingston County Fairgrounds.

– The Trenton Chamber of Commerce meets on September 28th at noon at Riverside Country Club. The cost is $10 for members and $11 for non-members.

– There a Live Karaoke Night on September 28th from 7:00-10:00 pm at the Grand River Multipurpose Center. Free will donations will be accepted.

 

Saturday, September 29

– The Chillicothe Lions Pancake Day is September 29th from 8:00-10:00 am at 500 E. Business 36 in Chillicothe. The cost is $7 in advance of $8 at the door, with proceeds going toward the Lions Sight Programs to purchase eyeglasses for area residents.

– The Christian Motorcyclists Association is hosting a “Run for the Son” Bike Show and Barbecue on September 29th from 10:00 am-noon in the parking lot at 515 Washington St. in Chillicothe. There will be bike contests, kids activities, food, and more.

– Crowder State Park will offer free guided kayak tours of Crowder Lake on September 29th from 12:30-2:30 pm. Participants are asked to meet in the parking lot. For more information call 359-6473.

– The Battle of the Badges Charity Softball Game between the Chillicothe Police and Fire Depts. is September 29th at 6:00 pm at Danner Park’s Red Field. Free will donations will be accepted and go toward Grand River Area Family YMCA’s Backpack Buddy Program.

– St. Columban Church’s 45th Annual Fall Festival is September 30th from noon-4:00 pm at the church.

– Friends of the Livingston County Library will be holding showing of the movie “Selma” on September 30th at 3:00 pm in the library courtroom. Free popcorn will be provided.

 

Tuesday, October 2

– The Livingston County Commission meet October 2nd at 9:30 am at the Courthouse.

– A class called “Decision Making-Focus on Teenagers” is October 2nd from 1:00-1:30 pm at the North Central Missouri Mental Health Center. For more information call 359-4487.

– All CHS 1970-1979 graduates are invited to help with planning a Decades Reunion. The anticipated date of the reunion will be September 2019. A planning meeting will be held on October 5th at 4:00 pm at 850 Fairway Dr. in Chillicothe.
