Semi Crashes, Burns near Winston

A truck driver from Minneapolis Minnesota was injured over the weekend when he swerved to avoid an object on I-35 3 miles north of Winston. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the truck ran off the road, hit a tree and caught fire after impact. 34 year old Osman Ali was taken to Cameron Hospital with moderate injuries.

Tree Limbs Causes of Power Outages

Several residents in Chillicothe were with out power during Friday storms. According to a spokesman for Chillicothe Municipal Utilities, tree limbs were responsible for a power outage of about 200 addresses in Northern Chillicothe Friday morning. Limbs were also listed as the cause of a few other scattered outages in Chillicothe.
