The Community Action Partnership of North Central Missouri Health Services will hold a clinic on June 18th from 9:30am-noon and from 1:30-5:00pm at 511 Elm St. in Chillicothe. For appointments call 359-2855.

 

The Livingston County Library is hosting a come-and-go craft event to make guitar pick accessories all day on June 18th for teens ages 12-17. For more information call 646-0547.

 

The Chillicothe Parks and Recreation Advisory Board will meet on June 18th at 6:00pm in the Conference Room of City Hall. The meeting will be followed by the Tree Advisory Board Meeting around 6:45pm.

The Chillicothe Chamber of Commerce will hold their monthly luncheon on June 20th at noon at 250 Business 36 in Chillicothe.

The 3rd Annual Kids Fishing Derby has been rescheduled for June 23rd at the pond on the west side of The Baptist Home. Registration begins at 8:30am. For more information call 752-8010.

Friday, June 24

The LIFE Center Food Pantry is distributing food to low income and needy families of Livingston County on June 24th from 2:00-4:00pm at 810 Elm St. in Chillicothe. Be sure to bring proof of Livingston County residence, social security cards, and know the dates of birth for all family members of the household. The Livingston County Library and Main Street Chillicothe are presenting a series of talks by nationally-renowned preservationist Bob Yapp on historic preservation as part of the Sliced Bread Day events on July 7th. The talks will be held at 10:00am, noon, and 2:00pm in the LCL Courtroom.

 

Friday, July 20

The Chillicothe Car Show Cruise Night is July 20th from 7:00-10:00pm beginning at the South side of the Square. The cruise begins at 7:30pm.

 

Saturday, July 21

The Chillicothe Lion's Car Show is July 21st at Simpson Park. Registration runs from 7:00-11:00am with the award presentation at 3:00pm.

 

Saturday, August 25

The 26th Annual EAA Chapter 944 Breakfast Fly-In/Drive-In is August 25th at the Chillicothe Municipal Airport. Breakfast will be served from 7:00-10:00am rain or shine and the free rides for Eagles ages 8-17 will be from 9:00am-2:00pm weather permitting. For more information call 646-8850.
