The Chillicothe City-Wide Cleanup will be April 25th and 28th from 8:00am-noon and from 1:00-4:00pm at the Old Transfer Station on Mitchell Road. The drop-off is free but there is a charge for tires.

 

Thursday, April 26

The Livingston County Commission will conduct a meeting April 26th at 9:30am at the Courthouse.

 

There will be an immunization clinic on April 26th from 2:00-7:00pm at the Livingston County Health Center. To make an appointment call 646-5506.

 

The Livingston County Library will present Open Mic Poetry Night on April 26th from 6:00-7:00pm at Boji Stone Cafe in Chillicothe. For more information call 646-0547.

 

Friday, April 27

The Livingston County Library is seeking submissions from all artists of all ages to have their work displayed throughout the library for its first ever LCL Con. All mediums are welcome, but preference will be given to works that are comic, fandom, fantasy, sci-fi, and book-related. Submissions are due by April 27th. The Mooresville Community Betterment will sponsor area-wide garage sales April 27th and 28th from 8:00am-3:00pm in downtown Mooresville.

 

Saturday, April 28

The Chillicothe Garden Club is sponsoring the "Earth Day Extravaganza" on April 28th from 11:00am-3:00pm at Simpson Park. For more information call 646-3121.

 

The Mooresville Township Fire Protection District will host its annual fish fry and pie auction on April 28th beginning at 5:00pm at the Mooresville Community Center. For more information call 707-3676.

 

The Braymer Lions Club is hosting a barbecue on April 28th from 5:00-7:00pm at 809 Main St. in Braymer. Free will donations will be accepted to help local athletes participate in the Lions Club annual All-Star Game.

 

The Meadville Community Center is holding a fish fry on April 28th from 5:00-8:00pm at the Meadville Community Center. There will be a silent auction of baked goods and sportsman items.

 

Bishop Hogan Memorial School presents the 15th Annual Dinner Auction on April 28th at the school. The theme is "Roaring into Catholic Education with "The Great Gatsby.'" Doors open at 4:00pm and the Hy-Vee sponsored dinner at 6:30pm, with the live auction immediately following. No one under 21 will be admitted.
