Livingston County Health Center holding "W.I.C." day October 18th.

 

Women's Health Clinic October 18th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:30 to 5:00 p.m. at the Linn County Health Department in Brookfield. For an appointment call  877-611-7600.

 

Grand River Technical School FBLA will be trick or treating for canned goods October 18th from 5:15 to 6:30 p.m. Items will be donated to a local food bank.

 

October 19

Linn County Republican Women meet October 19th at 6:30 p.m. at the Pershing Museum in Laclede.

 

October 20
Spaghetti Supper Fundraiser for "Operation Help" is October 20th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at First Christian Church Community Room in Chillicothe, free will donation.

 

October 21

Breckenridge Fire Department Fall Fundraiser is October 21st. Silent auction starts at 12:00 p.m. with a Chili dinner at 4:00.

 

Hale Fire Department Chili Supper, bake sale and fundraiser is October 21st at 5:00pm

 

Chillicothe Boat Club will hold the Annual Blue Rock Shoot at Roach Lake October 21st starting at 12:00pm


Chillicothe Correctional Center hosts a 5k Run/Walk to benefit area students needs October 21st at Simpson Park. Registration at 6:00 a.m. and run at 7:00.

 

A Chili Luncheon Fundraiser is October 21st from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Grand River Multi-purpose Center.

 

Hamilton United Methodist Church Fall Harvest Dinner is October 21st from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. p.m. For Delivery call 816-583-2325 by October 19th at noon.

 

Braymer Lions Club fish fry is October 21st from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at 809 N. Main Street in Braymer.

 

October 22

Donkey Basketball Fundraiser is October 22nd at 2:00 p.m. at Bosworth school. Tickets are $13 in advance and $15 at the door.

 

Chillicothe Boat Club will hold their Election of Officers October 22nd at 1:00pm at Roach Lake.

 

October 23

A parenting class, "Teaching Self-Control/Blended Families," is October 24th from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the North Central Missouri Mental Health Center in Trenton.

Hunter Education course will be October 24th from 5:30 to 9:30pm at the Litton Center Old Classroom. Call the Conservation Department office in Chillicothe at 646-6122. Kids be be 11 years old by the 24th to register.

 

October 26

North Missouri Center for Youth and Families "Power Up After School Program" Open House is October 26th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at 211 Locust.

 

October 27

Cultural Corner Art Guild and Gallery will hold a Wood Exhibit closing reception October 27th from 5:00 to 8:00pm

 

A Seasons paranormal researcher from Kansas City will host a program of Missouri Hauntings and Ghost Stories October 27th at 6:00pm at the Livingston County Library. No registration is required.

 

October 28

Goodies with Ghouls is October 28th from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. at Pioneer Skilled Nursing in Marceline for kids 12 and under.

 

An "Art of the Mask" Benefit reception and auction is October 28th at 6:00pm at Cultural Corner Art Guild and Gallery.

 

The Braymer Chamber of Commerce will host "Haunted Park" on October 28th from 6:00 to 8:30pm at Tait Park with games, prizes and a wiener roast, cost is $1 per child.

Boo-fest is October 31st in downtown Chillicothe.

 

November 3

A "John Rollins Wildlife Photography Exhibit" will be November 3rd to the 27th at Cultural Corner Art Guild and Gallery in Chillicothe with an opening reception and program on the 3rd from 5:00 to 8:00pm

 

November 4

Pancake Breakfast fundraiser for the Chillicothe Salvation Army is November 4th from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. at Applebee's in Chillicothe.

 

Running for the Paws 5k is November 4th at 8:00 a.m. starting at the Chillicothe Comfort Inn and Suites.

 

8th annual Women's Health Services Expo is November 4th from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Trenton High School.

 

Chicken Dinner and Bazaar is November 4th from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Gallatin First Christian Church.

 

Breckenridge R-1 Music Department will hold a fish fry November 4th from 5:00 to 8:00pm at the school. Free will donation will go towards the music department at Breckenridge school.

 

November 9

The Livingston County Library will host "Murder on the Boardwalk: A 1920s Murder Mystery in the 2nd floor courtroom of the Library on November 9th at 7:00pm. Registration is limited to 28 participants. Call 646-0547 for information.

 

November 11

Meadville United Methodist Church will host a Thanksgiving Style Harvest Dinner November 11th from 4:30 to 7:00pm with a free will donation.
