The Trenton Bulldogs have a new head coach this year. Kevin Hixson takes over as head coach. His opening game as Trenton’s leader might be a tough task when the Bulldogs face Lathrop who finished second in state last season. Hixson says despite graduation, Lathrop will still be a great team. Trenton picked up three wins last season.

Area Players in MSHSAA Tennis Tournament

Chillicothe and Trenton are sending qualifying players to the State Tennis Tournament in Springfield starting today. In the State Tennis Tournament, the singles and doubles tournament brackets have been released with play beginning May 24th. Last week, Brookfield picked up it’s first football win in convincing fashion. This week the Bulldogs host the Macon Tigers.
