Chillicothe Police Report Includes An Accident and Arrest
Chillicothe Police responded to 104 calls Monday, including one arrest and one accident.
9:15 a.m., Officers took a report of trespassing in the 1100 block of Grandview Ave. Following the investigation, information was forwarded to the Livingston County Juvenile Office.
9:45 a.m., Officers were dispatched to a suspicious vehicle in the 1400 block of Oak Dr. The vehicle was parked illegally and towed from the area.
12:05 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a two vehicle non-injury crash at Washington and Webster Streets. One driver was cited for following too close.
6:55 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a report of trespassing in the 200 block of E. Bridge St. Officers arrested Joseph Alan Vargas on an active parole violation warrant. Vargas was transported to the Police Department for processing. Vargas was transferred to the Daviess-DeKalb Regional Jail.
9:30 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a fireworks complaint in the 1500 block of Springhill St.
9:40 p.m., Officers received a call of a careless or possibly intoxicated driver in the area of Mitchell Ave and Business 36. The driver was attempting to locate a hotel.
10:45 p.m., Officers checked on a pedestrian in a business parking lot in the 1300 block of N. Washington St.
