Police And Sheriff Investigate Drug Report
A report of a possible controlled substance at a local motel last Friday was investigated by the Chillicothe Police Department and Livingston County Sheriff’s Department, resulting in the arrest of a Chillicothe man.
Thirty-nine year old Julius Lamont Boyd is charged with alleged Possession of Controlled Substance. He was also arrested on a Dekalb County Probation Violation warrant for alleged Passing a Bad Check.
Detectives from both departments conducted the investigation and identified the suspect. In the process, the report states they seized an additional amount if alleged methamphetamine from Boyd.
He remains in custody at the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail with bond set at $10,000.
