The only local race to be decided for an office in the Livingston County Primary was for Recorder of Deeds. Two democrats ran for the office and there were no Republican candidates.
Vote totals for the race are Amy Hobbs Baker’s 930 to Cindy Ireland’s 634.
With no Republican opposition in November, Baker will be the new Recorder of Deeds after the start of 2019.
