Tax Rate Levy On Trenton Council Agenda

The Trenton City Council meets Monday following a tour of the Sewer Plant.

The Tour is part of a Workshop session at 5:00 pm.  They will meet at the sewer plant and have a review of the headwork project.  The workshop session is open to the public.

At 7:00 pm, the Council members meet at City Hall.

The meeting begins with comments from Debbie Kinnison about the cat ordinance.

The council holds a public hearing for setting the 2018 Tax Levy at 1.0699 per $100 valuation.  The rate includes .9036 for the General Fund and .1663 for the Park Fund.  The proposed rate is an increase of .0119 from the current rate.

The ordinance for setting the tax rate will be considered.

There is also an ordinance to grant a conditional use permit to allow an existing business to be converted into a single family dwelling.  The property is located at 1242 Tinsman Avenue.

The final item in the agenda is a discussion on the headwork project for the sewer plant
