The Hornets Football coaching staff received a good look at their younger players at a Red and Black Scrimmage on Thursday night. Younger players received a majority of the snaps in the two hour scrimmage.
Head Coach Tim Rulo says the scrimmage was a good teaching opportunity.
Deon Reynolds had three long touchdown runs of 51, 65 and 57 yards.
The Hornets travel to Columbia tonight to scrimmage Hallsville, Father Tolton and Southern Boone in a jamboree. Play begins at 7:00 pm and Rulo is looking forward to his team facing someone else.
The regular season starts next Friday, August 24th at home against Marshall. KCHI’s pre-game show begins at 6:30 pm with kick off at 7:00.
