Girls XC 4th, Boys 9th at Home Meet

The Kirksville boys and Moberly girls won the team titles at the Chillicothe Cross Country Invitational meet.
On the Boys Side, Kirksville had 31 points while Chillicothe finished 9th with 245 points out of 14 complete teams.
For the Hornets, Hayden Simmer was 27th, Logan Asher 32nd, Peyton Forck 40th, Stephen Parkes 69th, Brady Bernskoetter 77th, Erik Kleinschmidt 78th and Connor Douglas 87th.
On the Girls side Moberly had 47 points with Chillicothe girls 4th out of 8 complete teams with 113 points. Kadence Shipers led the Lady Hornets in 13th place, Callaway Chapman 16th, Emma Burk 20th, Kathryn George 25th, Mayanna Weed 39th, Olivia Lamp 41st and Emma Bernskoetter 42nd.
For Chillicothe’s Junior Varsity Boys Runners: Tristen Forck was 10th and Nathan Toole was 17th
For the first Chillicothe Middle School Boys Team: Chillicothe was the only complete team. Joshua Adams was 1st followed by Logan Gregory, Gunner Harrison, Steven Skaggs and Gabe Hanson in a distance that was half of the high school course.
Junior Varsity High School Girls Kiera Bosley was 19th and Grace Bligh was 20th.
For Chillicothe Middle School Girls: Aliyah Briner was 1st, Makinna Arr was 3rd, Bronlyn Ward 4th and Sophie Ellis 5th
