Two Chillicothe Varsity runners and two Junior Varsity runners earned medals at the Duane Kimble Cross Country Invitational meet hosted Tuesday by St Joseph Benton.
On the Boys side, Chillicothe finished 3rd with 119 points. Savannah boys won the meet with a Princeton runner the overall Boys champion.
For Chillicothe Varsity Boys Hayden Simmer was 12th and earned a medal, Peyton Forck was 14th, Logan Asher 21st, Eric Kleinschmidt 44th, Brady Bernskoetter 46th, Stephen Parkes 52nd and Tristian Forck 61st.
In the Girls Varsity race, St Joseph Christian was the team champion with Chillicothe 3rd with 61 points. A South Nodaway runner won the girls overall championship. For Chillicothe Kadence Shipers was 12th and earned a medal, Callaway Chapman 19th, Emma Burk 25th, Katherine George 29th, Mayanna Weed 40th and Emma Bernskoetter 43rd.
In Junior Varsity Races, COnnor Douglas was 9th and Nathan Toole 10th with both boys earning a medal. On the Girls side Kiera BOsley was 12th and Grace Bligh 14th.
