Chillicothe Police Report Includes One Arrest On Saturday

Chillicothe Police report one arrest and a couple accidents and several investigations for Saturday.

At about 5:10 am, officers responded to the 500 block of Webster on a barking dog complaint.  They were unable to contact the resident.

An accident at Cherry and Calhoun was investigated at about 1:15 pm.  The report states Norman Caselman was cited for following too closely, resulting in the accident.  No injuries were reported.

An accident at Business 36 and international Road happened about 5:45.  One driver reported she could not see the other vehicle because of the sun.  No tickets were issued and both vehicles were driven from the scene.

6:20 pm, Officers took a report of theft from a home in the 600 block of Missouri Avenue.  A person who was in jail left items with the resident and when they were released they were unable to retrieve their property.

About 10:00 pm, a traffic stop at Green and Cowgill resulted in an arrest for alleged driving while intoxicated.  The driver was taken to the police department, processed and held at the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.
