The Chillicothe Police Department handled 123 calls for service Wednesday. Among the calls were one arrest and loud bangs.
5:10 am, Officers performed a well-being check in the 500 block of Jackson Street. The person was taken to Hedrick Medical Center.
9:00 am, Report of illegal trash dumping in the 1400 block of Third Street. The person responsible was contacted.
11:35 am, Officer assisted the School Resource Officer with a juvenile at Hedrick Medical Center.
11:55 am, Chase Ballard of Chillicothe surrendered at the police department on an arrest warrant.
1:45 pm, Report of loud bang in the area of 1000 Frederick. Another was heard in the area of Wise and Vine later in the evening.
6:30 pm, Report of possible impaired driver on Washington Street at viaduct. The vehicle was stopped and they found no problems.
6:35 pm, Officer contacted by subject in reference to a lost phone.
9:25 pm, Checked on a report of a light flashing under Polk Street bridge at the Railroad tracks. Found it was only a train on the tracks.
