Troopers Report Two Injury Accidents Sunday In The Local Area

A Gallatin woman was injured in an accident Sunday around Noon in Daviess County.  Fifty-nine year old Mary Jarboe of Gallatin was taken to Cameron Regional Hospital following and accident around noon on Missouri Highway 6, near Altamont.   Jarboe was a passenger in a vehicle driven by 61 year old Terry Jarboe and they were westbound on Highway 6, when an east bound vehicle driven by 31 year old Joel Newks of Milan lost control and struck the Jarboe vehicle head on.  The drivers were not injured.  They were all wearing safety belts.

A single vehicle accident in Clinton County left four Cameron residents with minor injuries.  The accident happened Sunday at about 10:35 am in Route BB, east of Cameron, as 37 year old Clint Riddle was westbound and ran off the road and hit the ditch.  Riddle was not wearing a safety belt.  His passengers, 13 year old Rachel Gehrs, 8 year old Kaylee Riddle and 5 year old Clinton Riddle, all had minor injuries.  All four were taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center.  The children were wearing safety belts.
