The Chillicothe Police department has a new Detective and a new police officer. Police Chief John Maples says the new Detective is Whitney Murdock.
Chief Maples says he was NOT part of the selection process for the Detective’s position. The board made the recommendation and he passed that on to the Chillicothe City Council for approval.
The new officer, Jeff Allen comes to Chillicothe from Carrollton.
Maples says Allen will go through training on the department’s procedures soon.
