The Chillicothe Fire Department responded to a call in the 800 block of Jansen Street on Saturday evening. Fire crews arrived at 6:52pm on a report of smoke coming from furnace vents. The resident said she had smelled and saw a light haze of smoke from the furnace vents, but the smoke alarms had not activated.
A fire department spokesperson said they used a thermal imagining camera around the week old furnace but found nothing. The owner was advised to call back if she noticed any more issues.
