Flooding On the Missouri River To Effect Portions Of The Grand River

Heavy rain and snow along the Missouri River in areas to our north is causing that river to rise.  The Missouri River is expected to rise above flood stage as we get into the weekend.  That flooding is expected to cause a rise of the Grand River levels at Sumner and Brunswick.

At Brunswick, the Grand River will rise to about 18.2 feet by Sunday morning.  That is still below the 19 foot flood stage mark.

At Sumner, the river is expected to rise above flood stage of 26 feet early Saturday morning, cresting at 26.7 feet and falling back below flood stage Sunday morning

Waterfowl hunters planning to hunt in those areas should be aware of the river levels and plan accordingly.
