Hot Shooting Hornets Sting Tigers

The Chillicothe Hornets Boys Basketball team beat Falls City, Nebraska 66 to 45 in the opening round of the Bishop LeBlond Tournament.
Chillicothe used hot shooting in the first half to build on an early lead. The Hornets shot 75% from the floor in the first half, unofficially.
Hornets Coach Tim Cool said his team’s defense was outstanding, especially in the first half.

Chillicothe scored the first points in the game and led the entire game. Unofficially, Chillicothe was led by Westley Brandsgaard with 21 points, Hayden Simmer with 15, CJ Pfaff with 14, Peyton Forck with 6, William Perry with 4, Matt Smith, Hunter Swift and Bradley Riley with 2 each. Every Hornet that made the trip saw playing time in the game.
Chillicothe plays in the semi-final at 5:30 this evening in the Bishop LeBlond Tournament.
