A Minnesota woman died and a one year old child was injured in a single vehicle accident on Interstate 35, 11 miles north of Cameron Monday morning.
The Missouri Highway Patrol reports 34 year old Ramya Bharathi Mohan died at the scene of the accident and her one year old child, Tiara Babu had minor injuries in the accident that happened about 6:50 am.
According to the report, 36 year old Selvam Babu was southbound and ran off the road into the median, struck a crossover and his vehicle went airborne. When the vehicle impacted the ground and overturned several times, the wife was ejected.
The driver was not injured and the one year old child was taken to Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City for treatment.
