Hornet Wrestlers 4th at Cameron Duals Tournament

The Chillicothe Hornet Wrestlers finished 3-2 and took fourth place in the Cameron Duals Wrestling Tournament on Saturday.
Chillicothe opened with a 45-24 win over Clinton, a 40-36 win over Osage and a 65-18 win over Savannah. The Hornets had a first round bye in the ten-teams tournament.
Chillicothe lost to eventual champion Millard South from Nebraska 76-0. The Nebraska team went 61-9 in individual matches in the tournament.
Cameron edged Chillicothe 48-32 in the third place match. Chillicothe had three open weight classes in the match.
Individually for the Hornets Keegan Valdez, Matt Callen, Dawson Wheeler, Colten Sewell and Lavery Jones all went 4-1 with Jones winning his 100th career match.
Kaleb Mullikin went 3-1 and Sheldon Rader went 3-2. Spencer Cairns went 2-1 and Aidan Zimmerman went 2-2.
Isaac Washburn went 1-0, Donald McCracken went 1-2, Gage Leamer and Jacob Chapman went 1-4. Nickolas Heldenbrand went 0-1 and Evan Loucks went 0-5 in the tournament.
