Alcohol Compliance Checks In Trenton

Alcohol Compliance Checks were conducted by the Trenton Police Department over the weekend.  The Midland Empire Alcohol Task Force and Trenton Police Department conducted the compliance checks on Saturday, using an underage person to attempt to purchase alcohol from eleven retail businesses and bars.

The results include a 32 year old Blue Springs man cited for supplying alcohol to a minor.

The Midland Empire Alcohol Task Force provides the underage person, funds to purchase, and pays for all police officer overtime to work the investigations.  The compliance checks are done in order to eliminate mistakes by employees and identify anyone selling alcoholic beverages to minors.
