The Maryville Spoofhounds held off a stubborn Chillicothe Hornets team 66-57 in a conference boys game. Chillicothe led early in the contest. The Hornets battled back from double digit deficits several times but could get no closer than six points in the final quarter.

The “Twin Turbos” once again led Chillicothe with Westley Brandsgaard scoring 21 points and had none rebounds and C J Pfaff had 18 points, six rebounds and six assists.
Peyton Forck scored eight, Mason Baxter with seven, Hunter Swift with three and playing time for Bradley Riley, Hayden Simmer and briefly for Eli Cross.
Chillicothe falls to 9-5 while Maryville improves to 11-2. Both teams are now 1-1 in conference play.
The Junior Varsity Hornets lost 35-18. Eli Ross and DaltoN Ripley each had four points, Carter Allen and Hunter Raider each had three and Demarcus Kelow and Tyler Hart each had two points in the loss.
