When the Chillicothe Fire Department responds to a fire, they do not have time to search for a fire hydrant. With the recent snow and the plowing of the streets, some of the hydrants in Chillicothe may be buried. If it is your house on fire, you probably don’t want them spending time looking for a hydrant either. Chillicothe Fire Chief is asking property owners to dig out the fire hydrants on their property.
