The Chillicothe Mudcats return for another summer of baseball from late May through July. The team already has 35 players signed and those players will need housing. The Mudcats organization provides the housing through Host Families. These families volunteer to house the player, providing access to laundry and providing meals. Butch Shaffer, from the Mudcats Board says without the Host families, he’s not sure the team would have survived 18 years. Shaffer says they have hosted many players.
