Oats Transportation, the bus service that serves Chillicothe and other communities around the state of Missouri, has had to cut back on the number of routes they run due to the Federal Government Shutdown.
In Livingston County the reduction means there is one less bus running. Normally there are five routes and there are currently four. That will mean slower response times for those calling for buses in Chillicothe. If you are in need of a ride from the Oats Bus, call early and anticipate having to wait.
Oats Transportation received reimbursement funding from the federal government, and right now, there is no-one to receive the request for funds and no-one to write the check
