Two accidents in Grundy County Thursday left the drivers with minor and moderate injuries.
At about 3:15 pm, 27 year old Marty Fisher of Trenton had minor injuries when he was westbound on Missouri Highway 6, just west of Galt, and slid off the north side of the road and his vehicle overturned, coming to rest on its wheels. Fisher was taken to Wright Memorial Hospital for treatment.
At about 4:05 pm, 50 year old Missy Obey of Riverdale Georgia had moderate injuries in an accident on US 65, just north of Trenton. State Troopers report Obey was northbound and lost control on the icy road. She overcorrected a couple times before sliding off the east side of the road and her vehicle overturned, coming to rest on the passenger side. She was taken to Wright Memorial Hospital for treatment.
