Livingston County Sheriff’s Department Investigations and Arrests

The Livingston County Sheriff’s Department report includes several investigations and a two arrests.

January 22nd, a residential burglary investigation began at a home in the Chula area. A locked door to the residence was kicked in and a 48” television was stolen. Investigation continues.

January 23rd, deputies completed an investigation of Statutory Rape and Sodomy-2nd degree involving an adult male and a juvenile female. The alleged incidents took place in Livingston County and another county during 2018. Child Advocacy Center has assisted the deputies with the investigation. A report was submitted to the prosecuting attorney for consideration of charges. Reports are also being submitted to the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office.

January 24th deputies completed a trespassing and stealing investigation from November. The reported stolen item was recently located and the investigation shows there is no theft crime due to circumstances. However, the reporting person is seeking trespassing charge against the suspect(s).

Arrests in the report
January 23rd deputies arrested 23 year old Jesse Lee Reeter of Chillicothe on four traffic warrants for alleged DWI, Failure to Register Motor Vehicle, exceeding Posted Speed Limit and Fail to Signal. Reeter surrendered himself and posted bond.

January 25th, deputies arrested 35 year old Jeffery Davenport of Chillicothe on a Missouri Parole Warrant and 30 year old Cynthia R. Periman of Utica on a Caldwell County warrant for a traffic offense.
