The City of Chillicothe will update their website this year. City Clerk Rose Frampton discussed the process and what might be available on the site at Monday’s workshop session. City Administrator Darin Chappell says the current site is usable, but they want to provide more.
Chappell says this will be a budgeted item and will require going out for bids, so it will not start until the start of the new fiscal year.
Some of the items they hope to provide in the future include applications for employment and purchasing licenses or permits on-line. They also hope to accept payments on line using a credit or debit card. Frampton says they are just in the early planning stages and look forward to the improvements that can be made.
