Chillicothe’s Abigail Clements finished in fourth place in the first ever Girls Wrestling District Tournament in Missouri.
The Lady Hornets team finished 28th out of 39 teams, earning four points.
Chillicothe’s 103 pound entrant Abigail Clements finished in 4th place and earned her team’s four points. Clements received three byes, lost to a Kearney Wrestler then lost to a Cameron wrestler to finish in fourth place, due to a low number of entries at the weight class.
Karyna Ireland at 121 received two byes and lost two matches. She did not place.
Summer Drake at 136 lost twice and did not place.
Jaden Murphey received a bye and lost two matches. She did not place.
Madison Hayes at 152 pounds lost twice and did not place.
Jordan Hicks had a bye and lost two matches. She did not place.
The Boys District Tournament is next weekend at Excelsior Springs
