Two Arrests In Chillicothe Police Report

The Chillicothe Police Department report includes a couple arrests on Tuesday.

8:00 am, Officer responded to US 65 and US 36 for an accident. No injuries were reported.  Tyler Campbell was cited for alleged failure to yield the right of way and no insurance.

8:24 am, officers checked a report of water being pumped into street in the area of Miller and Bryan Streets.  They found the water was from a burst pipe in a house.  CMU was notified.

12:40 pm, Officers arrested John Anthony First in the 1000 block of Graves Street on a Daviess County Warrant. First was taken to the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail.

3:40 pm, A subject was wanting to report a possible burglary in 1300 block of Calhoun Street.  Officers determined the incident was not a burglary and no report taken.

About 4:00 pm, Officer stopped a vehicle at Miller and Polk Streets when they noticed the driver was an individual known to not possess a valid driver license.  The driver was processed at the police department, cited and released.

7:05 pm, Officer performed a home check in the 1300 block of Fair Street at the request of the property owner.  A door was found unlocked and the owner notified of a pipe broken in the basement.  They were aware of the situation.

10:55 pm, Officers were dispatched to a residence in 500 block of St. Louis Street in reference someone beating on the door. Officers were unable to locate anyone in the area.
