Hornet Wrestlers Lead After District Day 1

The Chillicothe Hornets Wrestling team have a narrow lead in the 14-team standings after the first day of the Class 2 District 4 Wrestling Tournament in Excelsior Springs.
The Hornets have a narrow two point lead over second place Cameron in the team standings thanks to eleven Hornet wrestlers making it through the winners bracket quarter finals and three still competing after making it through the consolation quarterfinals.

106 pounds Sheldon Rader had a bye and won by pin
113 pounds Aidan Zimmerman received two byes
120 pounds Conner Keithley had a bye and won by pin
126 pounds Gage Leamer had a bye, lost by pin then received a bye
132 pounds Colten Sewell had a bye and won by pin
138 pounds Lavery Jones had a bye and won by pin
145 pounds Jacob Chapman won by Major Decision, lost by Injury Default and had a bye
152 pounds Dawson Wheeler won two matches by pin
